Mosaic of Moon

Mosaic of the moon's terminator taken on . It is composed from 6 images. Each image is a stack of 15 original images taken with a QuickCam Pro.

15 March 2000, 150 mm f/10 Mak-cass, GP mount with motor tracking Camera, Pime focus. Each image was unsharp masked and then stacked with the AstroArt software. Mosaic using Paint Shop Pro version 5. Each image was adjusted for brightness and contrast so they can match each other. Stacked images show less noise and "clustering of the pixels".

04 March 2000, 15:00 - 16:00 HKT - ED 80mm refractor 640mm focal length, Quickcam home CCD Webcam (the vendor quotes that is CCD), solar diagonal and 1/50000 sun filter, the upper image is prime focus, the lower image is used with MC2 2X barlow lens for projection. Mizar K mount on manfoto tripod. All exposures are automatic.
