Born in 1974, single, working as Medical Audio Visual Technician in the Chinese
University of Hong Kong.
Astronomy has been my keen interest since 1992 while I was in high school. My first telescope was a department store type 60mm "T-brand" red tube refractor. Although the quality of this scope was not satisfactory, I was totally amazed by the first view of the lunar craters and the Saturn through it when I was still "green" in astronomy.
My major interests in astronomy are visual deepsky observation, amateur telescope making and high resolution imaging. In November last year, I built the 25" truss-tube Dobsonian with my friends Alan Chu, Dennis Pang and Dr. CH Yeung, which is currently the largest aperture astronomical instrument in Hong Kong.
You may click here to see the photo of my wives: 16" Dobsonian and 25" Dobsonian.
My next project is to do high resolution imaging with the 25" Dobsonian, hopefully some satisfactory shots will be obtained soon.
