Our services aim at improving quality of life for
the disabled with the help of assistive technology. Clients will
be thoroughly assessed, especially for their functional ability
and prescribed with assistive technology device and training on
the use of the device.

AT Devices in library
|
There are various special AT
devices available for loan to the disabled. The following
are some of the special devices with different control mechanism.

Touch Screen: to provide direct
access of the computer desktop |

Small motion detector: to
detect small motion of the fingers, toes etc., use as a switch
for electrical appliance or button of computer mouse
|

|
Sip and Puff switch: sip and puff
to control on and off |
|
Head motion detector: to detect
head movement and control on and off
|
 |
|
|
Training
Some clients need training on the use of special
keyboard, typing pattern, mouse and software/ hardware which enhance
computer accessibility for disabled.

Clientele
Clients with special needs in communication and
computer accessibility can be referred by therapist or doctor.
