Clinic: Patients are assessed by the Seating Team, which includes Paediatric Orthopaedic Doctor, Rehabilitation Engineer, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist and Orthotist. Patients are prescribed with seating systems or wheelchair if necessary after thorough assessment and discussion.

 

Workshop: For more complicated seating systems or wheelchair prescriptions, patients will be referred to the seating workshop, in which the seating team will manipulate different seating components and techniques to make a tailor-made seating system as to correct or relieve the seating and postural problems.

 

Clientele

The Seating Clinic provides seating assessment and evaluation mainly to children with neuromuscular diseases. To attend the Seating Clinic, patients need to be referred by doctors or therapists.

Workshop: 09:30 am - 12:30 pm on Friday
