This consolidated MSc programme is combined from our previous programme, known as the MSc in Musculoskeletal Medicine and Rehabilitation and MSc in Geriatric Orthopaedics, since 2017.

Please find below the course structure of MSc MRGO (applicable to 2017 to 2023 admission) (click the chart to see details)

New course structure in 2024/25

In order to increase the flexibility of module selection for favorable contents, we are now applying for the phasing-out of Streaming policy starting from the 2024/25 admission. Students admitted from 2024/25 academic year have the freedom to select the elective courses without being required to select the stream of studies. Students admitted on 2022/23 and 2023/24 are still required to select the elective courses by stream. (click the chart below to see the details)

Target Students:

This programme is to provide advanced academic training to professionals who are working closely with musculoskeletal disorders and/or with geriatric orthopaedic issues, such as medical doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists and other allied healthcare professionals, researchers and community practitioners.
