Please note that accreditation is not required for the CPD categories of "Award Bearing Courses", "Publications", "Participation in Study Group", "Self-Study" or "Educational Activities". The Occupational Therapists Board, however, has the discretion to decide whether to accept the activities for the award of CPD credit points. Registrants are required to maintain their own records of participation in CPD activities in the approved self-declaration form at www.smp-council.org.hk/ot/en/content.php?page=cpd.
When applying for renewal of practising certificates in the 3rd year of the CPD cycle, registered occupational therapists will have to submit to the Board the declaration form providing the CPD activities participated and the credit points attained. Please maintain the records in any format that can serve the purpose. You may refer to the Manual for CPD Scheme for Registered OTs for details ( https://www.smp-council.org.hk/ot/file/pdf/Mandatory%20CPD%20Scheme%20Manual%20(Eng).pdf ). |
