Our Course:
The MSc in Musculoskeletal Medicine, Rehabilitation, and Geriatric Orthopaedics (MSc MRGO) is designed to address the growing demand for training and education among healthcare professionals in the fields of rehabilitation, musculoskeletal medicine, and geriatric orthopaedics. This initiative aligns with the projected ageing population and the major development strategies announced by the Hospital Authority and the SAR Government's healthcare expansion plan in Hong Kong.
This consolidated MSc program combines our previous offerings: the MSc in Musculoskeletal Medicine and Rehabilitation and the MSc in Geriatric Orthopaedics, both established in 2017.
New course structure since 2024/25
To enhance flexibility in module selection, the Streaming Policy will be phased out starting with the 2024/25 admissions. Students admitted from now on will have the freedom to select elective courses without being restricted to a specific stream of study.(click the chart below to see the details)
