BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Yang Guangpu, Kenneth is a Clinical Lecturer in the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He is currently a Basic Surgical Trainee under the Hong Kong Intercollegiate Board of Surgical Colleges and Hong Kong College of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
Dr. Yang’s research focuses on idiopathic scoliosis, bone health, and Vitamin D with particular interests in statistical modelling, machine learning, and neural network computing. He has published over 20 articles in international peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal of Bone and Mineral Research and Osteoporosis International. Dr. Yang received the CUHK O&T Best Research Paper Award for Trainees. He has been invited to present at international conferences and has been awarded several international Young Investigator Travel Grants. Additionally, Dr. Yang is actively involved in teaching medical students.
